Far left: me above the harbor in Monoco; immediate left: front of the Matisse Museum.Today (Monday) we toured the Matisse museum in Nice. It's one of Brad's favorites and it was fun to see it. They were doing an exhibit of loaned pieces from the Rodin museum in Paris -- many of which I'd seen before. I don't know much about Matisse -- I'll get a biography when we get home -- but I do know if somebody offered me one as a gift, I'd probably take it. After we left, we decided to drive on to Monoco. When we got there, we parked and walked up the hill to the Palace where we saw the changing of the guard and had a glass of champagne a few feet away. It's all quite beautiful.
